Project Overview: Arena Sports

The digital arena of sports tourism:

Arena Sports project process Arena Sports is an Antalya-based sports tourism agency with FIFA and TÜRSAB certifications. They handle way more than just booking pitches or hotels—full logistics for clubs and athletes. They asked us to build a site that actually reflects how they work, not just a brochure.

 

The challenge: complexity simplified They offer everything: football camps, golf, tennis, VIP travel logistics. It’s easy to bury the important stuff. Club officials don’t want to hunt for pitch specs or hotel details. We put their biggest client references and FIFA-certified facilities front and center, then their 5-star hotel partners. Trust first, details second.

 

Design & experience We used photos of actual games instead of stock shots. Mixed corporate tones with green and orange accents. Most club managers check facilities on their phones while traveling, so we prototyped every tap and hover state in Figma. Mobile had to work perfectly, no excuses.

 

Technical execution & performance Speed was a big deal. Sports tourism sites are full of massive facility photos that usually slow everything down. We converted all images to WebP, added lazy loading. Tested the responsive layout on every screen size we could find. It holds up.

Operational trust Listing services isn’t enough. You have to prove you can deliver. We built separate pages for football, golf, tennis. Slapped their FIFA and TÜRSAB certifications in the footer of every page, small detail, but it matters for corporate clients.

 

The Arena Sports site runs on a custom headless CMS we built with Payload. Their team can update facility details, camp schedules, and hotel partnerships without needing a developer to step in. Change, and it updates on the site instantly. 

The result The site loads way faster than the old one, ranks better for local sports tourism searches, and club managers can find pitch specs in seconds. We built something that matches how Arena Sports actually operates. No fluff, just the info teams need when they’re planning a trip.
